Four-armed Goddess Mahakali ferocious aspect of Durga, Seated in padmasana on a large flat cushion composed of multiple lotus petals wielding (clockwise) atrident, a skull, a pot and a sword. She is ornamented with a serpent around her neck and a garland of skulls (mundamala). Durga's lion mount is seen in the foreground in the midst of rocky terrain. Kashmir; Late 19th Century.
