Lotus mandala with human figures. Bhadrawah-Kishtwar; 19th century. On black cotton fabric, embroidery is done in sombre shades of red, purple, pink, white and black using chain stitches. The design is similar to that of Chamba rumals, but embroidery style is Kashmiri, evidently the work of muslim gujjar woman.
